Assuring Your Needs Are Covered
In 2007, Peter Hecht, Mark Calzaretta, Bob Ackerman and Jon Ackerman established Magna Legal Services to provide end-to-end litigation support services to law firms, corporations, and governmental agencies throughout the world. We provide strategic advantages to our clients by offering litigation support services at every stage of their legal proceedings. It is our mission to assure that all of your needs are delivered to you in a high-quality, reliable, and responsive manner.
I’ve done my share of mocks and focus groups. What I like about Magna’s process is their ability to convert the juror data into meaningful and effective recommendations. And most importantly, they tell me what I need to hear and that’s not always what I want to hear.”
Richard Fabian / General Counsel, Director of Litigation, Executive Vice President The RiverStone Group

Community Involvement
Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is a staple in Magna’s Philosophy.
Numerous times each year, Magna supports the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through donations and by hosting fundraiser events, including our Chopped for CHOP events, and more recently, a Peloton Contest and a White Castle Eating Challenge.
One of the greatest perks of being a business owner is having the ability to support charities that are near and dear to your heart. Since 2009, we have been raising money and awareness for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through our annual Chopped for CHOP event”
Peter Hecht, Founding Partner & EVP of Sales and Business Development
Magna also frequently finds new ways to volunteer our expertise and resources. Recently, our consultants worked with Tarrant County College & Texas A&M University Law School to host a mock trial for their nursing and healthcare students using Magna’s virtual platform. With the unforeseen pandemic cancelling and disrupting education, Magna sponsored the event to help ensure the nurses of tomorrow are properly prepared and ready to start caring for their communities.
Magna habitually supports charitable organizations throughout the nation through donations, sponsorships and volunteering. Some other organizations Magna recently supported include:
- American Diabetes Association
- Best Friends Animal Society
- Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
- Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
- MCCA – Diversity Gala
- Meals on Wheels America
- NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund
