Prior to joining Magna Legal Services, Peyton had an extensive law practice specializing in complex federal civil rights such as § 1983, Title VII, and constitutional law focusing on the 1st, 4th, 14th, and 8th Amendments on behalf of plaintiffs. No stranger to high exposure cases, her cases routinely garnered significant media attention and have been featured in outlets such as Forbes, CNN, Fox, NBC, and the Washington Post. In 2020, she was awarded Top 40 Under 40 by the American Institute of Trial Lawyers for outstanding courtroom abilities. Peyton brings this hands-on litigation experience to her consulting methodologies.
Peyton graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in psychology, focusing on applied biopsychology and industrial psychology. She then went to Loyola University College of Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate while participating in Moot Court, Community Justice Clinic, and the Community Outreach Community. She is barred in the State of Louisiana.
Peyton was previously co-founder of her own jury research firm and has been conducting jury research since 2015 as part of her own practice and for law firms across the country on a wide variety of matters. She has broad experience in witness preparation, mock trials, jury profiling, damages evaluations, jury selection, and development of case themes. Peyton routinely contributes to the Louisiana Association for Justice publication Louisiana Advocates, a monthly volume for trial lawyers.
