Jason Rudd

Senior Technology Consultant

Jason Rudd is a Senior Technology Consultant at Magna Legal Services/TrialGraphix with trial experience in 22 states. Since joining the legal consulting industry in 2003, he has helped hundreds of teams with various legal issues, such as asbestos, bankruptcy, construction, the environment, franchise agreements, insurance, intellectual property, medical devices, and patents. He has partnered with some of the most reputable law firms and corporations in the country and has managed presentation technology for complex, high-stakes cases.

Jason’s extensive hot-seat experience enables him to anticipate and alleviate many client concerns associated with trying a case using technology in the courtroom. When lawyers are arguing patent claims, for example, he familiarizes himself with the details of the matter so that he can seamlessly support the advocacy rather than simply maintain the database.

Before choosing his career in litigation consulting, Jason was a producer at an interactive marketing agency. There, he created programs for companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Gap Kids, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer, Reebok, Simon Property Group, and Taco Bell. Jason applies his production skills and knowledge to choreograph courtroom visuals using the latest technology. Working with teams of any size, Jason is praised by clients for his meticulous attention to detail and speed with exhibits; he says, “I never walk into a courtroom, arbitration or jury research project with a question unanswered.”

Some notable matters include:

  • Breed Technologies v. AlliedSignal Inc. aka Honeywell International Inc.
  • Epic Games, Inc. v. Apple Inc.
  • Hogan v. Novartis Pharm. Corp.
  • Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. et al. v. Citibank, et al.
  • ResCap Liquidating Trust v. Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc.
  • State of Indiana v. International Business Machines and International Business Machines v. State of Indiana

Jason has a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from The Pennsylvania State University and graduated from its honors program. His thesis about multimedia was the first interactive CD-ROM produced by a telecom graduate at the University.

He is a proud father and not related to Paul Rudd, though they have crossed paths.
