For over 25 years, Anne Smith has consulted on high-stakes, multidistrict, litigation on a national level. With backgrounds in social and affective neuroscience and visual communication, Anne brings a unique multi-disciplinary approach to her consulting with deep knowledge of how humans interact with information, specializing in the visualization of complex, technical, subject matter, and strategic storytelling.

While Anne has consulted on a wide range of matters, her career has primarily focused on intellectual property, product liability and mass torts. She has worked with teams on high-profile litigation such as Big Tobacco, the Exxon Valdez oil spill, asbestos and benzene litigation, Dow Corning breast implant litigation, Deepwater Horizon, Fen-Phen diet drug claims, the Gaylord Chemical spill, and the Bayer, BASF, Dow, and Huntsman isocyanate lawsuits.

She studied at New York University and pursued advanced study in specialized approaches to cognitive processing and behavioral change through the Neuroleadership Institute and Middlesex University. This blend of contemporary neuroscience, behavior change, and strategic communication shapes her work and informs her approach.
