Jury Consultant

Amit Patel is a Jury Consultant at Magna Legal Services. He combines his background in law, psychology, and social psychology to help litigators understand how jurors are likely to evaluate the facts, witnesses, arguments, and themes that drive a case. Amit is experienced in assessing case strengths and vulnerabilities, developing trial strategies, and applying principles of cognitive and behavioral science to craft clear, persuasive juror messaging.

Amit works with clients on jury consulting, jury research, and case analysis in matters involving complex legal and factual issues. Through mock trials, focus groups, and related research, he helps attorneys test competing case narratives, identify issues that matter most to jurors, and translate juror feedback into practical recommendations.

Amit has also written on topics at the intersection of psychology and the law, including juror decision-making, legal persuasion, trial strategy, negotiation, and the lessons attorneys can draw from jury research. His legal education and experience as a practicing attorney further inform his ability to analyze litigation issues through both a legal and behavioral science lens.

Amit is a member of the Georgia Bar. He earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a J.D. from Texas Tech University, and an M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
