Magna offers nationwide coverage and 24-hour scheduling for depositions, assuring you reliable service at competitive rates.

Scheduling a deposition through Magna takes about five minutes if you have the case details in front of you. Here’s how it works.

Two Ways to Schedule

For standard scheduling, use the online form at magnals.com/schedule-a-deposition.

For same-day or next-day requests, call or email the scheduling team directly at:

What the Online Form Covers

The form runs six steps. Pull the notice of deposition before you start and it goes faster.

  1. Your contact information. Name, email, phone.
  2. Firm information. Firm name and address.
  3. Case information. Upload the notice (up to 128 MB), enter the noticing attorney, case caption, and type of proceeding (deposition, arbitration, hearing, mediation, EUO, trial). Select the format: remote/video, in-person, telephonic, or a conference room and how many attorneys are noticed.
  4. Scheduling details. Date, start time, end time, time zone, deponent name(s) and state(s), and the deposition location.
  5. Corporate or insurance information. For insurance defense matters, enter adjuster details, claim number, file number, insured name, and date of loss. Optional step for firms without a carrier or corporate client on the matter.
  6. Additional services. Select any of the following before submitting:
    • Certified Legal Videographer (MP4 or DVD delivery, with a requested delivery date)
    • Interpreter (language specified at scheduling)
    • Real-Time hookup (live transcript streaming during the proceeding)
    • Rough Draft (transcript within 24 hours)
    • Internet Text Streaming (remote attendees follow along in real time)
    • Deposition Manager via Magna LitigationVision Plus (dedicated technician handles exhibit presentation and session management)
    • Electronic Delivery (e-transcript with word index, emailed after)

Requesting these upfront avoids a separate call after the deposition is confirmed.

Virtual Depositions

If you select the remote format, Magna uses Magna LitigationVision, their encrypted video platform. It runs on computers, tablets, and smartphones and supports exhibit display and annotation, session recording, breakout rooms, and custom virtual backgrounds. A technician is available throughout the proceeding.

Clients can also request a Zoom demo prior to the deposition and type “HELP” in the chat at any time during the proceeding to get tech help.

After You Submit

Magna typically has a 24-hour turnaround for confirmations. Clients will receive an email confirming their deposition and any other relevant information therein regarding the proceeding.

Corporate and High-Volume Accounts

Firms that schedule depositions regularly can set up a corporate account with Magna. Corporate clients get a dedicated account manager, custom scheduling protocols, and 20–25% cost savings.

To inquire about setting up a corporate account with Magna, contact your local representative or Magna’s VP of National Accounts, Noelle Nociti at [email protected].
