Director of Jury Consulting
Brittany Wooten is a Director of Jury Consulting at Magna Legal Services, where she partners with attorneys nationwide to develop data-driven trial strategies for complex civil and criminal matters. Since joining Magna in 2018, she has advised on all aspects of litigation consulting, including jury selection, focus groups and mock trials, juror profiling, damages assessments, community attitude surveys, trial monitoring, and theme development.
Known for translating social science research into practical courtroom strategy, Brittany helps trial teams evaluate case strengths and vulnerabilities, understand juror decision-making, and develop persuasive case narratives. She also plays a key role in advancing Magna’s research capabilities and consulting methodologies, including the ongoing development of Magna’s JuryConfirm® platform.
Brittany regularly presents at national conferences on jury decision-making, trial strategy, and emerging trends in litigation consulting. She maintains an active research collaboration with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln focused on juror decision-making and empirical jury research and has been quoted by national media outlets, including USA Today, regarding jury selection strategies in high-profile matters.
Her experience spans a wide range of complex litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical and product liability, commercial and business disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith, construction, employment, securities, antitrust, white-collar, and criminal matters.
Prior to joining Magna, Brittany launched and managed a Chicago office for a national litigation consulting firm. She earned her M.A. in Criminology from the University of South Florida and her B.S. from Florida State University and has published articles on behavioral science, juvenile justice, mental health courts, and substance abuse.
