Magna’s Annual Chopped for CHOP 2022
A PETER HECHT PRODUCTION
Magna Legal Services’ Annual Competitive Mock Trial Conference “Chopped for CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia)” is a two-day program, beginning with a micro panel workshop and followed by a dinner reception.
The next day, we will kick off our unconventional convention with Magna’s competitive mock trial. Our competition will feature four trial attorneys who will go head-to-head in a mock trial setting to present their best case to a panel of judges made up of claims executives and corporate counsel. After each phase of the trial (opening statements, cross examination of a witness, and closing arguments), the judges will vote and CHOP one lawyer from the competition, leaving one ultimate champion at the end. The attorneys will be competing to win up to $20,000.00 in donations made in their firm’s name to CHOP.
